4P00060-25 Co-incineration of bio-sludge from pulp mills in bubbling fluidised bed

The project aims to explore the potential of ash from the incineration of bio-sludge for phosphorus recycling.

The results showed that the type of biological sludge used gave rise to a too high ratio of calcium to phosphorus (Ca/P) in the ash, which can lead to that the phosphorus is found in insoluble phosphates. The amount of fine particles and chlorides in the flue gases decreased as the mixing of bio-sludge was increased.
